The patina emphasizes the powerful anatomy of the Centaur, Cupid’s figure, the horse’s musculature and the intricate sculptural details of the composition.

Every sculpture is individually produced and finished in our family atelier in Spain.

The piece passes through numerous stages of preparation and craftsmanship before leaving our workshop, including surface preparation, correction, assembly where required, sanding, priming, painting, patination, ageing, detailing and final protective finishing.

The Antique Gold patina is applied individually by hand, creating subtle variations that give every sculpture its own unique character.

This is not a mass-produced decorative object. Each sculpture receives extensive individual attention throughout its creation and finishing process.

This historical sculptural reconstruction is created in our workshop from carefully prepared visual references of the original historical artwork.

The three-dimensional model is individually developed in our atelier as our own sculptural interpretation of the historical piece. It is then individually produced and extensively worked by hand through preparation, correction, assembly, sanding, priming, painting, patination, ageing and final finishing.

Each sculpture is individually created and finished in our workshop.

🛠️ This sculpture is made of solid high-density resin filled with museum-grade and prosthetic-quality materials, the same type used in museums, cinema, theatre, and cultural institutions worldwide.

• ❌ Mineral-based mixes like stone powder composites (which lose definition)
• ❌ Plastic or anything similar (which reduces both quality and weight)

🎨 HAND-APPLIED ANTIQUE PATINA

The final Antique Gold appearance is achieved through a multi-stage manual finishing process rather than a simple metallic coating.

Darkened recesses create depth, while bronze and aged gold tones accentuate the raised surfaces and sculptural modelling.

This process is particularly important in a complex work such as Cupid upon a Centaur, where the anatomy, movement, textures and interaction between the figures are fundamental to the composition.

Because the patina and ageing are applied individually by hand, slight variations between pieces are a natural part of the artisanal process and make every sculpture subtly unique.
